Inventory Specialist:

Job Description:
  1. Weekly Inventory Reconciliation of all third party inventory locations.
  2. Monthly inventory reconciliation for all Screen-print inventory locations.
  3. Coordinating with all outside locations in case there is a shortage/ defect / damage / overage etc.
  4. Weekly reconciliation of In-transit Inventory (Actual in-transit vs. book in-transit) and take corrective actions for variances.
  5. Weekly inventory report for different categories specifying uncommitted inventory (capturing correct details for open purchase orders, sales orders and work orders)
  6. Coordinating with sales and purchase department for taking remedial actions on uncommitted inventory.
  7. Identifying open PO's (past ex factory date), Open So's (past customer cancel date) and Open WO (past commit date) and following up with relevant parties so as to ensure accurate reporting in the system.
  8. Monthly inventory aging (for identifying slow moving/obsolete/ excess inventory reserve)
  9. Develop, implement, and monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions (receipts, shipments, adjustments, cost tiers etc) to assure that they are accurately and timely recorded in the books.
  10. Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes.
  11. Monitor warehouse transfers for accuracy.
  12. Setup new Bins / warehouses.

  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge with Excel, Word and Outlook.
