Be the backbone of smooth operations

Our client, Flash Parking, is hiring a permanent, full-time Inventory and Fulfillment Materials Specialist to keep product moving and customers delighted. You’ll help advance Flash Parking’s mission to free consumers from the hassles of everyday travel by ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time.

Where and when you’ll work

  • Location: 5 days onsite at the Dripping Springs, TX warehouse
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • Travel: 0%

A day in the life

You clock in, scan inbound pallets, and confirm counts and lot numbers. You stage materials for production, ferrying components to the right work centers. Midday, you pivot to pick, pack, and crate outbound orders, securing each shipment and documenting units shipped. You keep the floor tidy, perform a quick pre-use check on your forklift, and jump in to resolve a parts shortage—updating locations in the WMS and alerting the team. Before you leave, you verify returns, record transactions, and leave tomorrow’s wave of orders ready to roll.

What you’ll handle

  • Receive, verify, and put away inbound materials; record locations and report shortages.
  • Pull materials for production and sales orders; stage finished goods for distribution.
  • Maintain in-process inventory by delivering and opening materials at work centers.
  • Pick, pack, crate, load, and secure outbound product; document units shipped.
  • Process returns and credits by confirming material codes, lot numbers, and quantities.
  • Operate material-handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, and related machinery) safely.
  • Complete pre-use inspections and basic operator-level equipment repairs.
  • Keep inventory zones, docks, and equipment clean and organized.
  • Open containers; sort and catalog materials; maintain accurate, timely records.
  • Learn and follow all workplace safety requirements.
  • Support additional tasks assigned by management to drive operational excellence.

Tools and tech

  • Warehouse and transportation systems (WMS/TMS); RF Smart and Ship Hawk preferred.
  • Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and basic data entry.

What you bring

  • Proactive, solutions-first approach with strong organization and communication skills.
  • Team-focused mindset with the ability to translate company goals into daily actions.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced setting with changing priorities.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English in a business environment.
  • Certified—or able to become certified—to operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

Experience and education

  • 1+ year in shipping/receiving, order fulfillment, warehouse operations, logistics, or similar.
  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution strongly preferred.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

Compensation

$20.00–$27.00 per hour. Final pay will be determined based on your skills and experience.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and a flexible work environment
  • Professional growth and development opportunities
