Colanar is seeking an Inventory and Shipping Associate. This role exists to ensure accurate, reliable, and cost-effective material flow across operations by maintaining highly accurate inventory, executing disciplined cycle counts, proactively managing vendors and freight partners, and continuously improving material organization and procurement practices. By doing so, this position protects production continuity, eliminates build delays, improves margins, and helps scale reliably while meeting high-precision manufacturing requirements.

Core Responsibilities

•Receive incoming materials accurately by verifying packing lists, inspecting goods, and entering transactions promptly in the system.

•Prepare outgoing shipments with correct labeling, documentation, and shipping method to ensure accuracy and compliance.

•Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled inventory areas, following 5S and visual management principles.

•Perform scheduled cycle counts, investigate variances, and reconcile inventory records.

•Track shipments and proactively communicate any delays or discrepancies with suppliers, freight carriers, and internal stakeholders.

•Support procurement by confirming deliveries, helping track supplier performance, and escalating issues promptly.

•Stage and issue materials to production based on job requirements and drawings, ensuring correct revision and quantity.

•Identify continuous improvement opportunities involving space utilization, labeling systems, or process efficiency.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, Full-Time
