Varstaff is currently looking for an Inventory Associate I - D:
Shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
As an Inventory Associate I, you will safely and efficiently handle the receiving, inspection, data entry, storage, and movement of heavy parts and materials within our fulfillment center.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate heavy PIT equipment/forklifts, electronic pallet jacks (EPJs), reach-trucks, and turret-trucks to move materials.
Receiving & Inspection: Unload, visually inspect, and quality-check incoming shipments against standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Inventory & Data Entry: Document receipts, enter physical delivery data into the inventory management tool, and derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material.
Packaging & Storage: Package, label, sort, stage, and properly store individual or bulk parts; perform inventory audits.
Problem Solving: Identify and escalate operational roadblocks, support root-cause analysis, and maintain a focus on continuous improvement.
Experience: 2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience (specifically receiving and inventory functions).
Certification: Previous certified forklift experience is required.
Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Safety & Quality: Strict adherence to safety protocols (including PPE) and a strong commitment to attention to detail and quality.
Skills: Strong communication, basic math, and analytical problem-solving skills; ability to build positive professional relationships.
Warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience within the aerospace or automotive industries.
