Job Title: Inventory Associate I
A Shift / Location: Orlando, FL / On-site
Type: Contract
Compensation: $28 per hour
Responsibilities
- Assist in inventory counting, receiving, and packing operations within the fulfillment center.
- Operate forklifts safely to support warehouse logistics and material movement.
- Receive shipments, unload deliveries, and inspect packages for quality and accuracy.
- Perform quality control checks according to standard operating procedures.
- Document receipts and update inventory management systems accurately.
- Input data precisely into inventory management tools from physical deliveries.
- Apply proper packaging and labeling techniques to ensure parts are ready for processing.
- Sort and stage packages and materials to streamline workflow.
- Maintain organized storage and perform audits to ensure compliance with procedures.
Desired:
- A degree in Supply Chain Management or APICs or Lean Six Sigma certificate.
- Warehouse/Receiving/Inventory experience in the aerospace industry.
Requirements: - 2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including receiving and inventory functions.
- Strict adherence to safety protocols, including PPE usage and safe operating procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Attention to detail with a quality-focused attitude and dedication.
- Strong communication skills in a technical environment.
- Mathematical skills for calculating percentages, area, volume, and unit conversions.
- Ability to derive inventory requirements from drawings, specifications, and Bills of Material.
- Ability to build trust and contribute positively to team culture.
