Essential Functions Statement(s)
All Inventory Associates --
• Pushes, pulls, and steers rolling carts throughout warehouse.
• Places product into a cart.
• Operates a manual pallet jack by pulling, leading, and steering palletized product
throughout the warehouse.
• Operates an electric “walkie” pallet jack.
• Operator must continually mount and dismount equipment and move product.
• Requires reaching, pulling, twisting, bending, crouching, and lifting.
• Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary
equipment, such as cleaning or recharging batteries, and refer defects or repairs to
supervisor/maintenance.
• Moves controls to drive powered lift trucks and transport materials between processing
and storage areas.
• Moves levers and controls that operate lifting devices such as pallet jacks to transport and
stack material.


Inventory Associate: Pallet Jack Qualified
• Verifies that the product received is identified and counted accurately.
• Uses scanning devise and computer as needed to perform tasks.
• Inspects condition of received product, particularly damages and returns.
Checks printout for shortages, over-counts and incorrect item codes and
lot numbers.
• Moves and places product safely and securely in its proper storage location.
• Places product on a spot utilizing stacking guideline.
• Reports shortages, over-counts and incorrect lot codes as needed.
• Performs cycle counts on a regular basis
• Daily Physical Pickline Counts by printout
• Daily processing of returns using a computer
• Relabeling and Putting Away Returns
• Loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets
• Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
• Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security
standards.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.

• Paperwork - Completion - Ability to complete necessary paperwork neatly and accurately
and according to established guidelines. Properly count, document or scan the number of
units as needed by the function that is being performed.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Experience: One (1) to two (2)s year related experience in warehouse environment.
• Computer Skills: Basic scanner technology and Basic Excel experience preferred.
• Certificates & Licenses: Forklift Certification preferred.
