    About the job Inventory Associate

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Associate/Stockman to manage our cloud kitchens inventory. The Inventory Associate/Stockman will be responsible for receiving, storing, tracking, and distributing supplies and ingredients, ensuring that the kitchen has everything it needs to function smoothly.

    The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience with inventory management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Receiving and Storing: Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality, and properly store items according to guidelines.
    • Inventory Tracking: Regularly track and update inventory levels using inventory management software or systems, ensuring real-time accuracy.
    • Ordering Supplies: Collaborate with the Kitchen Head to determine inventory needs and place orders with vendors as required.
    • Stock Rotation: Implement and maintain a stock rotation system to minimize waste and ensure the freshness of ingredients.
    • Distribution: Coordinate the distribution of supplies and ingredients within the kitchen, ensuring that all stations have what they need.
    • Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food items.
    • Reporting: Prepare regular inventory reports, highlighting any discrepancies, shortages, or other issues for management review.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to understand their needs and support them as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant certification in inventory management is a plus.
    • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory management, preferably in a cloud kitchen or food service environment.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficient in inventory management software or systems.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of food safety and storage regulations.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
    • Ability to stand for extended periods.
