Inventory Associate EMBR Dispensary | Northampton, MA Location EMBR Dispensary Northampton, MA Job Type Part-Time Pay $18.25 per hour About the Role EMBR Dispensary is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Inventory Associate to join our Northampton team on a part-time basis. In this role, you'll help keep our store's inventory accurate, well-organized, and fully stocked supporting smooth day-to-day operations behind the scenes and on the sales floor. We're looking for someone organized, dependable, and comfortable moving quickly in a busy retail environment while following our established procedures and compliance standards. What You'll Do Receive incoming product shipments, verify contents against manifests, and place items into stock. Keep inventory counts current and accurate across all storage and display areas. Complete scheduled cycle counts and support periodic full inventory audits. Restock retail shelves and back-of-house supplies throughout each shift. Flag low-stock items and communicate replenishment needs to the management team. Investigate and help resolve count discrepancies as they arise. Keep all inventory storage areas clean, organized, and secure. Follow internal handling, storage, and security protocols for cannabis product. Comply with all Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission and local regulations governing inventory control. Pitch in on additional store operations tasks as needed. What We're Looking For Must be 21 years of age or older and eligible to work in the Massachusetts cannabis industry. Strong attention to detail and solid organizational habits. Dependable attendance and consistent punctuality. Comfortable following written procedures for routine inventory tasks. Able to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail setting. Clear, professional communication with teammates and supervisors. Able to remain standing and walking for the majority of a shift. Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation. Prior experience in retail, warehouse, inventory, or cannabis operations is a plus, but not required. Physical Requirements This role involves regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift. Associates will move between inventory storage areas and the retail floor and are expected to maintain accuracy while completing repetitive inventory tasks.
