Position Purpose:
The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for performing cycle counts for raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods; responsible for compiling and maintaining records of quantity and locations of materials daily.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:·
- Perform cycle counts of various materials daily, using computer generated stock lists.·
- Ensure materials are in proper locations.·
- Maintain safe, accurate, organized stocking locations.·
- Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products.·
- Recount items if needed.·
- Monitor stock quantities to support appropriate inventory levels.·
- Diligently attend to details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks.·
- Complete daily computer transactions in ERP system.
Qualifications:·
- High school diploma or equivalent·
- Computer skills in Microsoft Programs (Excel/Word)·
- Experience in Inventory Control, Reconciliation and Cycle Counting preferred·
- Demonstrated ability for precise record keeping.·
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (adding, subtracting, multiplication and division).·
- Able to understand basic work and safety instructions
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk within both office and production floor environments
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
- Visual acuity for computer screens and documents
- Ability to wear required PPE when on the shop floor
- Frequent use of hands for typing, scanning, and document handling
