About the role.

The Inventory (Supply) Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring maintenance, production, and other plant departments receive the correct parts and supplies in the right quantities and at the right time. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records within the SAP system while supporting safe, efficient stockroom operations and overall plant productivity.

What you'll be doing.

  • Place stockroom items in proper locations to maintain organization and accessibility
  • Notify end users when assigned or requested items arrive
  • Issue parts and supplies with proper approvals and associated work order numbers
  • Maintain perpetual inventory and reconcile stock levels within the SAP system
  • Perform routine cycle counts as directed by the Stockroom Supervisor
  • Identify and communicate inventory shortages or overages to ensure timely resolution
  • Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded in SAP
  • Verify work orders are assigned before items leave the stockroom
  • Assist with receiving freight, verifying quantities, and entering data into SAP
  • Submit requisitions for non-inventory items as needed
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Collaborate professionally with maintenance, plant personnel, contractors, and vendors
  • Support stockroom operations, including staging parts across multiple plants and handling vendor pick-ups when required

What you'll need to be successful.

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Moderate computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with SAP or similar inventory management systems preferred
  • Basic keyboarding and ten-key calculator proficiency preferred
  • Understanding of materials management processes preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds periodically
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

About the team.

The Inventory Clerk is part of the Maintenance Stockroom team and reports to the Stockroom Supervisor. This role works closely with the Receiving Clerk, Purchasing team, maintenance, and engineering to ensure seamless inventory flow and plant support. The team plays a vital role in keeping operations running efficiently across multiple plant areas.

Compensation Package: - Starting at 23.77 USD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
