Inventory Clerk

This role is an 8-week contract assignment. 

Eleven Recruiting is searching for an Inventory Clerk for a well-established, global aerospace and defense OEM in the greater Los Angeles area. In this role, you'll support accurate inventory management and the timely movement of parts and materials through manufacturing operations, helping ensure physical inventory matches system records and that production teams have the materials they need to meet schedule requirements.
  The Role
Working closely with Purchasing, Production and Supply Chain, you'll support receiving, storage, material issuance and inventory reconciliation. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented and comfortable balancing hands-on stockroom work with accurate data entry.
  Responsibilities:

• Receive and verify incoming materials against supporting documentation, checking part numbers, quantities and condition.
• Record receipts, transfers, returns and material issuance accurately in the ERP system.
• Perform cycle counts and support physical inventories, investigating discrepancies between stock on hand and system records.
• Communicate material shortages, inventory discrepancies and damaged items to the appropriate teams.
• Maintain material identification and traceability in accordance with established procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, stockroom organization and material flow.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in inventory control, stockroom operations, warehousing or material handling, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using an ERP or inventory management system to enter transactions and maintain records.
• Strong attention to detail when verifying part numbers, quantities, locations and documentation.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and accurate data entry.
• Ability to follow written procedures, prioritize daily tasks and communicate effectively across departments.

Pay Rate: $23/hr
