Title: Inventory & Warehouse Associate
Location: Elmhurst, IL
Hire Type: Contract to Hire
Shift :  1st 
Compensation: $22-25/hr

Must have Skill Set: Forklift Experience 

Overview:
A growing manufacturer of custom industrial equipment is seeking an Inventory & Warehouse Associate to join its team. This position plays a key role in supporting production operations by ensuring materials are accurately received, stocked, picked, and shipped. 

Job Duties:  

• Pick materials and components for production work orders
• Receive, stock, and organize inventory within the warehouse
• Manage overstock inventory using FIFO inventory practices
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
• Package parts for UPS and FedEx shipments
• Label and prepare finished equipment for shipment
• Load completed products onto trucks for delivery
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Assist with general warehouse organization and material flow

Qualifications:  

• Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus; training and certification available
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
