Inventory Clerk

Location: Grand Rapids, MI 49504
Pay Rate: $17.00 $18.00/hr, paid weekly
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 10:30pm

• Training will be completed on 1st Shift

Overview

The Inventory Clerk supports daily inventory operations within a production environment. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, conducting physical inventory counts, and ensuring materials are properly identified, secured, and available to authorized personnel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods, and other production materials.

• Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile results with inventory records.

• Verify quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.

• Ensure inventory is properly identified, secured, organized, and accessible to authorized personnel.

• Review inventory levels and assist with coordinating material availability based on production and sales requirements.

• Follow established inventory, production, and material-handling procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of production, inventory, or material-handling systems and procedures preferred.

• Previous inventory experience is not required.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to follow established procedures and maintain organized inventory records.
