Pay Range: 18.50 - 21.80 per hourShift: 6am-2:30pm (Tuesday - Saturday)Job DescriptionThe Inventory Control Clerk supports production operations by managing daily receiving and inventory activities within the SAP system. This role ensures accurate entry of received goods, monitors and follows up on production inventory orders, updates and adjusts production schedules, and coordinates timely transfers between the plant and third‑party warehouses. The position requires strong critical thinking skills to investigate and resolve AP and inventory discrepancies and plays an essential role in monthly inventory reconciliation and posting.Essential Job FunctionsReceive all packing slips, verify and match items, check units of measure, vendor information, and signatures of arrival. Resolve receipt mistakes made internally or by vendors. Ensure timely entry of all receipts.Order and process items in a timely manner. Follow up on orders and inventory levels, check delivery dates, and ensure accuracy to meet production needs.Transfer goods from the third‑party warehouse to the plant for production as needed. Maintain accurate inventory levels at both the plant and third‑party warehouse.Update production scheduling by modifying the POW file daily. Make schedule changes as needed, maintain accuracy, and follow up with internal notifications. Reprint and distribute updated schedules.Process SSO returns to vendors and disposed items. Enter product deviations in SAP as requested and approved by the production supervisor.Assist Accounts Payable with parked invoices and GRIR issues. Verify, investigate, and adjust discrepancies as needed.Update LOF reports weekly and ensure non‑expired LOF availability for the following week's production cycle.Manage the logo shop. Order product for logo shop, keep current inventories of logo shop, communicate logo shop sales to account receivable on a weekly basis, and send all sales paperwork to account receivable.Complete weekly recap of loading dock and WPL operations.Order all operating supplies needed for WPL and shipping operations, keep and inventories up to date including PECO and wood pallets.Receive all invoices against the POs in a timely manner.All other duties as assigned.RequirementsHigh school graduate or equivalent; some college preferred.1–3 years of warehousing or inventory experience.SAP knowledge preferred.Strong customer service skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Good typing accuracy and speed.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to organize workload efficiently and work independently.Excellent analytical and problem‑solving ability.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities – This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
