Title: Inventory Clerk III
Location: 8200 Coral Sea Street NE, Mounds View, MN 55112
Duration: 12 months of contract
Part time: 25 Hours Per Week

Job Description:
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
  • Help prep iPads. This includes applying barcodes, putting them in cases and enrolling/updating the software
  • Fulfill shipments to field reps using FedEx Ship Manager
  • Ensure that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel.
  • Maintain controls over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods).
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records.
  • Ensure that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct.
  • Conduct analyses of inventory levels and coordinates with production and sales requirements.

PRODUCTION SUPPORT CAREER STREAM:
  • Will be involved in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or storage of products in distribution center.
  • Provides support in distribution efforts including assembly, processing, packaging, and/or distribution of company products.
  • May set up equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
  • Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities in devices/workflows and recommends solutions/adjustments to methods and processes.

Autonomy:
  • Works under limited supervision, with no instruction needed on routine work and general instructions given on new activities.
  • Performs a wide variety of nonroutine clerical tasks and may support special projects or assignments in distribution center.

  • Performs activities requiring considerable judgment and may have ownership of minor projects in distribution operations.
  • Work may include nonroutine activities related to new lines of work or special assignments.

  • Problems faced are general and may require some analysis to understand and resolve.
  • Expected to independently propose solutions to problems for supervisor review.
  • May be responsible for recommending making minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of own job area.

Prior Knowledge and Experience:
  • Broad knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through prior work experience and/or education.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management and shipping.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with FedEx Ship Manager, SalesForce.com, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
