Inventory ClerkPay: $18.68 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime available on Fridays

Penmac Staffing is seeking an Inventory Clerk to support stockroom and inventory operations for a busy production facility that manufactures aluminum fishing boats and pontoons. This Inventory Clerk position is essential to keeping production running smoothly by ensuring materials are accurately received, tracked, and supplied to production teams.
Requirements- Previous inventory, warehouse, or stockroom experience preferred
- Basic computer skills, including inventory software and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Ability to read work orders, labels, and part numbers
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with production teams
- Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required
- Candidates must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
Responsibilities- Receive, verify, and process incoming materials
- Issue materials to production personnel based on work orders and build schedules
- Perform daily cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the inventory management system
- Organize and label stockroom shelving to support efficient material flow
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to leadership
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move materials
- Process returns and inventory adjustments for damaged or incorrect items
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment
- Support overall production goals through accurate inventory control practices
Physical Requirements- Stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
- Safely navigate stockroom aisles and production areas
- Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Perform material handling tasks while following all safety procedures
