Preps parts according to the Work Instructions. 2. Examines shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy. 3. Requisitions and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock. 4. Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel. Conducts daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems 5. Prepares documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials. 6. Packs, seals, labels, or affixes postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter. 7. Records shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or record keeping purposes. 8. Receives and signs for all incoming shipments: opens incoming packages to verify item quantity, reports any shortages or overage and receives per stocking unit of measure 9. Delivers or route materials to departments using hand-truck, conveyor, or sorting bins. 10. Contacts carrier representatives to plan or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials. 11. Notifies lead or supervisor of issues in a timely manner. 12. Determines shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped. 13. Comply with requirements according to procedures in the quality system. 14. Follows 5S procedures. 15. WORKING CONDITIONS Typical working conditions at Kitron are indoors, safe, well lit, temperature controlled, low exposure to noxious fumes or offensive odors, clean and sanitary conditions with average light industrial noise. Production areas have machinery with moving parts. Static dissipative smock, and shoes are required. Offices with locking doors, meeting rooms, and common printing areas are well lit, clean, low noise, and temperature controlled with no exposure to noxious fumes or offensive odors. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
