    Hire Type: Direct Hire

    Overview
Global Power Components is a privately held, rapidly growing manufacturer of UL heavy-gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, generator enclosures, and integrated electrical distribution systems. Operating from our newly expanded facility, we continue to invest in people, technology, and process excellence as a leader in our industry.

    Position Summary
As we continue to expand and introduce new inventory parts—including manufacturing stock—into our system, we have an immediate need for an Inventory Control Analyst. This role will focus on monitoring inventory accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and proactively addressing data gaps to ensure strong system integrity and operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities
    Inventory Accuracy & Analysis
    • Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies, trends, and systemic issues
    • Investigate root causes of variances between physical inventory and ERP records
    • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track inventory performance
    • Perform reconciliation analysis and recommend corrective actions

    Process Improvement & Controls
    • Evaluate inventory processes and identify gaps, particularly related to manufacturing stock integration
    • Establish and refine inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and consistency
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventative actions
    • Drive standardization of inventory-related data and transaction processes

    System & Data Integrity
    • Act as a liaison between operations and ERP/system teams for inventory-related issues
    • Ensure proper use and accuracy of inventory transactions within ERP/MRP systems
    • Support system enhancements, testing, and process improvements related to inventory

    Audit & Compliance Support
    • Support cycle count programs by analyzing results and identifying recurring discrepancies
    • Assist with internal audits and ensure compliance with inventory control standards
    • Provide insight and analysis on discrepancies rather than performing routine counts

    Qualifications
    Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or related field
    • 2+ years of experience in inventory analysis, supply chain analytics, or data analysis
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
    • Experience analyzing inventory in manufacturing environments
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
    • Understanding of inventory control principles, costing, and reconciliation processes
