Position OverviewOur client is seeking an organized and resourceful Inventory Control Analyst to support inventory control, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations at its New Hudson facility.
This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, coordinating shipments, resolving discrepancies, and helping improve inventory processes. The ideal candidate has two to five years of inventory or warehouse experience and can independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment when needed.
- Conduct routine cycle counts and investigate inventory variances.
- Oversee receiving activities, including documentation and inventory system updates.
- Coordinate shipping schedules and assist with carrier selection.
- Ensure materials are properly packaged, labeled, and prepared in accordance with shipping requirements.
- Maintain accurate records for incoming and outgoing materials.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, shortages, and process inefficiencies.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies involving shipments, returns, and stock levels.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, warehouse, and logistics teams.
- Train and support entry-level inventory and warehouse employees.
- Assist with inventory process improvements and operational problem-solving.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable shipping regulations.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Two to five years of inventory, warehouse, shipping, receiving, or materials experience.
- Experience using an inventory management or ERP system is preferred.
- Knowledge of cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, shipping documentation, and receiving procedures.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
- Reliable transportation to the New Hudson worksite.
Additional Requirements- Candidates must meet applicable ITAR requirements.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- This is a fully onsite position.
