Responsibilities & Requirements
The Inventory Control Assistant I supports patient care and operational reliability by maintaining accurate inventory levels of medical and surgical supplies, ensuring timely replenishment, and upholding compliance with regulatory standards. This role contributes to the safe and efficient functioning of clinical areas by tracking, documenting, and reporting inventory transactions. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health''s mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.High school diploma or GED.At least 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or supply chain operations, or equivalent combination of education and experience.None required at hire. Valid driver's license may be required depending on departmental assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred. Experience in a healthcare supply chain or inventory control environment preferred. Familiarity with inventory management software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is advantageous.
