At Imperial, we sell, distribute, and service General Merchandise, Seasonal Products, and Health/Beauty/Wellness Products to our customers. As an Inventory Control Associate, you will identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. Perform cycle counts through the pick module levels and throughout the warehouse.
Schedule: Monday- Friday 10:00AM-6:30PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
Drive cherry picker (PIT)
Process vendor inventory pulls
Excellent math skills required
Using RF technology scanner and count assigned location ranges
Research exception reports, while understanding and solving future issues
Research inventory errors throughout multiple departments
Meets productivity and accuracy standard
Follows all module safety trainings/requirements.
Possible floater to other Imperial warehouses.
Adhere to strict safety, quality and production standards
Help maintain a clean and organized workspace
Housekeeping tasks to keep the warehouse clean and safe.
Computer skills.
Other duties and tasks assigned.
Qualification: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job.
High School Diploma or GED
Basic computer skills – requiring able to use a log in and password and follow simple instructions.
Previous experience helpful, one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide complex numbers.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
