Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Inventory Control Associate to join their client's dynamic team in California. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented and efficient, with a strong background in warehouse operations and inventory management. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and organization of the company's inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pack materials accurately according to order specifications
- Prepare and stage materials for outbound shipment
- Perform quality assurance checks on materials to ensure accuracy and condition
- Process inventory transactions in SAP, including receiving and issuing materials
- Conduct cycle counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records within SAP
- Provide backup support to other inventory control team members as needed
- Maintain warehouse organization, including storage areas and aisles
- Read and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Perform general warehouse duties and assist with additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience required
- Experience in inventory control (preferred)
- Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory management systems
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
Required Work Hours
Monday to Friday, 1st shift
Benefits
Compensation for this position ranges from a minimum of $20 to a maximum of $24 per hour.
