Inventory Control Associate

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Inventory Control Associate to join their client's dynamic team in California. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented and efficient, with a strong background in warehouse operations and inventory management. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and organization of the company's inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pack materials accurately according to order specifications
• Prepare and stage materials for outbound shipment
• Perform quality assurance checks on materials to ensure accuracy and condition
• Process inventory transactions in SAP, including receiving and issuing materials
• Conduct cycle counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records within SAP
• Provide backup support to other inventory control team members as needed
• Maintain warehouse organization, including storage areas and aisles
• Read and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Perform general warehouse duties and assist with additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience required
• Experience in inventory control (preferred)
• Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory management systems
• Basic computer proficiency
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 1st shift

Benefits

Compensation for this position ranges from a minimum of $20 to a maximum of $24 per hour.
