Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of inventory control, warehouse inventory systems, or order management system experience in a high-volume distribution environment
• Previous forklift or material handling equipment experience preferred
• Basic clerical, data entry, and computer skills required

Job Duties

• Investigate inventory discrepancies and bin location variances
• Research problem orders, receipts, and inventory issues
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and inventory records
• Enter and update inventory data within the warehouse management system
• Perform cycle counts and product audits
• Ensure quality assurance standards and procedures are followed
• Stage and organize materials in designated warehouse locations
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
• Maintain inventory and bin accuracy to minimize shrinkage
• Complete required documentation and system transactions
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred.
• Technical training in manufacturing, quality assurance, or inspection procedures is beneficial.
• Experience performing first article, in-process, or final product inspections is beneficial.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, statistical process control, quality documentation, or corrective action procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are well positioned for success as a Inventory Control Associate.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.
• Ability to maintain visual focus and attention to detail while inspecting products in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
