Job Description:
- The QA Auditor is responsible for performing audits in the distribution center to ensure compliance to shipping and receiving procedures and overall Quality Management System.
- The QA Auditor will also support investigations and management of quarantine and non-conforming product (Hold, Expired, Damages, Return, Rework, and Recall) in accordance to procedures.
Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
- Check specified orders as directed to ensure all requirements are met, including quantity, batch number, material number, special instructions, etc.
- Communicate with inventory control, order pickers, leads and supervisors regarding improvements, discrepancies, and concerns.
- Ensure all random inspection records are prepared in a timely manner and forwarded to QA.
- Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other positions to assist in times of urgency, breaks, absences, or vacation.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED, required.
- Experience in Supply Chain and/or Distribution Center Operations, preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with Medical Device regulations, ISO 13485, and 21 CFR 820, preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
- General distribution knowledge.
- Highly proficient in the use of a PC, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and process efficiency skills
- Initiative and drive for results
