Inventory Control Clerk

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to join their team. As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting inventory management and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk

Location: Altavista, VA

Pay Range: $16

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Audit inventory to ensure system accuracy and balance
• Investigate inventory discrepancies during daily order processing
• Process rejected, expired, short-dated, and returned products
• Support Quality and Manufacturing teams with material destruction, rework, or quarantine
• Resolve orders on hold related to inventory status

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory management or related field
• High School diploma or GED required
• Ability to pass background check and urine drug screen
• Proficiency with computer interfaces and inventory systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
