Weekend Day Shift Inventory Control Clerk

The core responsibilities of this role include: cycle counts, inventory investigations, inventory reporting, inventory adjustments, and physical inventory audits, along with operating the following MHE: counterbalance, reach truck, and order picker.

Position: Weekend Day Shift Inventory Control Clerk Shift: Friday - Sunday, 5:00am – 5:30pm with mandatory OT as needed Pay: $20.75 per hour + $1.75 shift differential

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: proficient at Microsoft, Manhattan WMS, multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, need to be comfortable working upwards of 26 feet in the air at least 25% of your day.

Role Purpose: Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintain inventory records.
  • Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
  • Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
  • Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
  • Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
  • Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
