Inventory Control Coordinator

Wage

  • Junior Warehouse Clerk: $18.85/hour
  • Inventory Coordinator I: $22.00/hour
  • Inventory Coordinator II: $25.00/hour

Placement within the tiered structure is based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated competency.

Position Details

Status: Full-time, non-exempt
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Travel Requirements: 0%
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, with rotating weekend on-call responsibilities
Work Location: Midland, TX Shop – Permian Basin
Work Environment: Work is performed in a non-climate-controlled shop and warehouse environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures and loud noise.

Position Summary

The Inventory Control Coordinator supports daily warehouse and inventory operations, including shipping and receiving, fulfilling field part requests, maintaining inventory levels, and assisting with nonconformance processes. This position works under the supervision of a senior inventory controller or manager and helps ensure parts, materials, and equipment are accurately received, stored, documented, and distributed.

This role is best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, team-focused, and willing to learn in a fast-paced shop environment.

Duties

  • Manage daily shipping and receiving activities, including properly loading and unloading trucks
  • Inspect incoming shipments and verify items against shipping and receiving documentation
  • Maintain and update receiving logs according to Deep Well Services’ Quality Management System standards
  • Fulfill field part requests accurately and coordinate transportation of requested items
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify the purchaser when reorders are necessary
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts as required

Skills & Abilities

Education: High school diploma or GED required

Experience:

  • 0-3 years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehousing, or a related field
  • Previous shop, warehouse, industrial, or oilfield experience is preferred but not required
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills preferred
  • Experience using inventory or work-order systems is preferred
