Reports To: Inventory Control Supervisor
Wage Range: $15.92 - $21.54 plus temperature differential
Carries out various reactive and proactive inventory counts as directed by the Inventory Clerk to recover lost product and maintain accurate inventories.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Physically identify, count, and verify items in designated slots
- Re-stack items to allow for accurate counts
- Safely and efficiently operate warehouse equipment needed to count
- Review other assigned discrepancies
- Identify and report safety, sanitation, and equipment issues
- Confirm code dates on product per requests
- Take pictures of cases and confirm product inside cases, as requested
- Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.
YOU MUST HAVE
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree
- Proficient math skills
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft programs
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
- Problem solving skills
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
- Previous work in inventory control
- Warehouse inventory background
