Description
Inventory Controller
Position Summary
The Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting warehouse and production operations, and ensuring all inventory transactions are properly documented within the ERP system. This position works closely with Production, Quality, Accounting, Purchasing, and Logistics to support efficient operations and inventory integrity.
Essential Responsibilities
Inventory Control
Maintain accountability for raw material and finished goods inventory accuracy.
Manage inventory movements, including bin-to-bin transfers and warehouse replenishment transfers.
Conduct daily cycle counts and physical inventories.
Verify finished goods quantities, lot numbers, and locations to ensure alignment with system records.
Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Allocate inventory to active sales orders.
Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) practices are followed.
Manage RMAs and document root causes.
ERP & Documentation
Process production transactions in the ERP system.
Forward receiving documentation to Accounting.
File and maintain receiving and shipping records.
Scan and distribute Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) to Quality Assurance.
Prepare weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
Work Environment
Approximately 75% office and 25% warehouse/production floor.
Must wear required PPE and follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines.
Willingness to obtain and maintain HazMat certification is required.
Preform other duties and provide backup coverage as needed to support business operations
