Purpose This Inventory Control Forklift Operator is responsible for performing daily inventory audits throughout the doors manufacturing facility while safely and efficiently moving materials as needed. This role works closely with production and warehouse teams to locate materials investigate inventory discrepancies and ensure accurate inventory is maintained in SAP.

Duties & Responsibilities Conduct daily inventory audits of assigned areas within the doors facility Operate forklift safely to move materials between production areas staging areas and storage locations Research and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records Work closely with production teams to locate missing or misplaced materials Ensure inventory transactions are accurately recorded in SAP when materials are moved or adjusted Verify correct labeling location and quantities of materials during audits Report inventory variances and assist in root cause investigation and correction Maintain accurate documentation of inventory counts and adjustments Ensure compliance with all plant safety policies and forklift operating procedures Proper PPE usage while performing all job duties Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines policies and procedures Ensure accuracy and quality of all deliverables Receive inbound shipments check for damages and sort stock. Print labels Handling Unit tickets as well as handling all aspects of receiving functionality to determine appropriate storage allocation of incoming goods. Ensure labels and tickets are labeled correctly with the precise quantity. Collaborate and communicate efficiently with Warehouse clerk receiving team procurement and Inventory Department involved with the receipt of materials. Track and monitor updates of incoming shipments. Maintains accuracy of receipt scans from receivable items Receiving and signing for deliveries Knowledgeable in basic Excel Outlook Teams and other MS Office tools. Assist with other production or warehouse functions as needed Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications Minimum of two 2 years of forklift operating experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Experience working with inventory systems SAP experience preferred Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with production and warehouse teams Ability to work well and collaborate in a team environment Effective time management and organizational skills Ability to use computers or handheld devices to complete inventory transactions and documentation Ability to read and comprehend written instructions as required to complete assigned tasks Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations including required PPE Willing and able to work in a hot humid cold and noisy industrial environment Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of accuracy when handling inventory

Reporting Line and Supervisory Responsibilities This position reports directly to the Shift Supervisor. No supervisory responsibility.

Physical Demands and Work Environment This person is expected to perform work on the manufacturing floorenvironment. While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand walk sit use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls reach with hands and armsclimb stairs balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. This is a full-time position. This position may occasionally require extended hours or weekend work depending on operational needs.
