Position Summary

The Inventory Control Group Lead supports daily Inventory Control operations within the Distribution Center and reports directly to the Inventory Control Supervisor. This role functions as a working lead, providing day to day guidance to associates, reinforcing inventory accuracy, safety, and compliance standards, and supporting execution of operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily Inventory Control functions including cycle counting, slotting, inventory accuracy, root cause analysis, and Golden Zone execution

  • Provideon-floor guidance to associates to ensure tasks are completed accurately, safely, and on time

  • Reinforce compliance with CVSstandard operating proceduresregardingsafety, quality, and inventory control standards

  • Assistwith training, onboarding support, and work assignments as directed by the Inventory Control Supervisor

  • Identifyand escalate inventory discrepancies, safety concerns, and process issues

  • Support 5S, cleanliness, and lean practices within assigned areas

  • Assistwith audits, data collection, and basic reporting

  • Collaborate with other DC departments to support balanced workflow and daily operational targets

Key Qualifications

Required

  • 1-2 years of Inventory Control experience in adistributioncenter orwarehouse environment

  • Handson experience with cycle counting, inventory accuracy, or slotting processes

  • Basic working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

  • Ability to lead by example and provide guidance to peers

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures

  • Basicproficiencyin Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Ability to work in afast paced,metrics drivenenvironment

Preferred

  • Prior experience as a lead, trainer, or acting supervisor

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

  • Exposure tothe 5S'soflean(Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, andSustain)

Education

  • High School Diploma or GEDrequired

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $31.30

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
