Job Summary

Join our team in Kent, WA, a vibrant city known for its beautiful parks and thriving aerospace industry. We are seeking a dedicated individual for an Inventory Control Clerk position. As a key team member, you will apply basic counting and issuing skills of aerospace details, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and issue parts or tooling, storekeeping, and inventory control.
  • Perform cycle counting, scanning, document control, and housekeeping.
  • Move parts and materials, supporting internal customers and maintaining inventory control.
  • Meet expectations for output and efficiency.
  • Exhibit a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation with an action-oriented bias.
  • Identify and escalate problems or exceptions to the appropriate people.
  • Communicate information clearly, both written and verbally.
  • Understand and meet daily department expectations.
  • Use internal computer applications for basic inquiries, report generation, data entry, and scanning with oversight from experienced staff.
  • Interpret and update work order documentation and other production documents.
  • Operate company vehicles, forklifts, and other equipment as necessary to support stores functions.
  • Work under limited oversight.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Possess a proactive positive attitude and represent the company effectively in all situations.
  • Legible handwriting, organizational ability, attention to detail, and accuracy in handling parts and maintaining records.
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to identify variances, solve problems, and exercise good judgment in decision-making.
  • Relevant computer experience, including basic PC skills.
  • Strong math skills are essential.
  • Basic understanding of router operations and sketches.
  • Know when to stop and ask for clarification.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to move parts and assemble stores racking.
  • Perform physical activities requiring considerable use of arms and legs, frequent movement of the whole body, such as climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, balancing, and handling of material.

Shift Details

Swing Shift Hours: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (Monday - Thursday)

Participation in the Annual Incentive Program is available.
