Inventory Control/Material Handler - Shipping Laborer

We are looking to hire a Logistics Material Handler for our Warren, OH facility. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, stays focused on safety, and helps keep inventory and shipments moving.

In this role, you will support plant operations by performing physical tasks and logistics duties. You may help shovel, sweep, clean equipment, support ground maintenance, lift and move heavy objects, and assist with filing materials. Youll also help with shipping support tasks like SAP data entry, cycle counting, ordering materials, preparing crates, building part kits, and loading and unloading trucks. Attendance and reliability are critical for success in this position.

Hours
7:00 AM 3:00 PM (shift start/end)
Attendance is critical

Pay
$17.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
File materials from production to stores
Perform SAP data entry
Order and/or build crates for upcoming shipments
Cycle count inventory locations
Order materials needed in the logistics department
Enter and maintain heat treat material log
Back up as a receiving/shipping clerk
Communicate with trucking companies on shipments
Complete Tow motor daily inspections
Build part kits
Load and unload trucks
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager

Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to use hand tools
Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
Proper use of safety equipment (safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves)
Attendance and tardiness are critical
Crane/Forklift: in-house training provided to obtain certification

Nice to Have Skills
SAP/ERP experience

Preferred Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
SAP/ERP experience (a plus)

Other Requirements
Attendance and punctuality are critical
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (as part of physical work tasks)
