Step into a hands-on role where accuracy and momentum drive the day. As an Inventory Control & Order Fulfillment Specialist, you’ll keep products moving, data accurate, and customer orders assembled and ready to ship — all while operating material handling equipment safely and professionally.

A Day in the Life

You’ll start by checking inbound freight, counting items as they arrive, and receiving them into the computer system. Throughout the day, you’ll locate, sort, and store products on racks, bins, and shelves by predetermined sequence or product code. You’ll assemble customer orders from stock, stage them on pallets, and move them to the packing station. You’ll keep an eye on work queues and respond promptly, investigate and resolve freight claim discrepancies, and perform accurate cycle counts to maintain inventory integrity. You’ll also update product maintenance locations daily, inspect and process returns, and help load or unload merchandise during receiving and shipping windows. Between runs, you’ll pitch in with sweeping, cleaning, and trash removal to ensure sanitation and safety codes are followed. All equipment is driven in a professional, safe manner at all times.

What You’ll Do

• Locate, count, receive, store, stock, and ship merchandise kept in the warehouse.
• Assemble customer orders, place orders on pallets, and convey them to the packing station.
• Receive and count daily inbound freight; properly receive items into the computer system.
• Sort and store materials/products on racks, bins, or shelves per sequence or product code.
• Review and resolve discrepancies related to freight claims.
• Update product maintenance locations each day.
• Complete accurate daily cycle counts using RF scanners.
• Inspect and process returns into warehouse inventory.
• Review and respond to system queues in a timely manner.
• Load and unload merchandise during receiving and shipping.
• Drive company equipment safely and professionally at all times.
• Assist with daily cleaning, sweeping, and trash removal to meet sanitation and safety codes.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Trained and certified material handler able to operate reach trucks and forklifts.
• Experience with cycle counts and RF scanners.
• Ability to read and interpret procedure manuals and work instructions.
• Professional communication skills with customers and coworkers.
• Math proficiency: add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Good physical health; able to work at a rapid pace to meet shipping and receiving deadlines.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, or pull 75+ lbs on a frequent, repetitive basis.
• Familiar with the data works systems; able to input and retrieve data.
