Inventory Control Outbound Associate

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday | 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Partners Personnel is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Outbound Associate to join our client's dynamic warehouse team in Columbus. This role plays a critical part in ensuring inventory accuracy and efficiency across outbound operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies encountered during picking, packing, and shipping processes, including overages, shortages, and damages.
  • Utilize internal systems such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and quality control logs to review and document errors accurately.
  • Assign responsibility for discrepancies and determine appropriate resolution methods, such as inventory adjustments, item rework, redirection, or disposal.
  • Collaborate closely with Inventory Control, Outbound, and Customer Service teams to correct inaccuracies and communicate discrepancies effectively.
  • Support customer pickup orders by ensuring inventory accuracy and timely problem resolution.
  • Maintain detailed logs of inventory errors and identify recurring trends to proactively prevent future issues.
  • Assist with repackaging salvageable items, ensuring proper labeling and storage for quality control hold or damaged products.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and performance standards within a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Qualifications:

  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with inventory control processes and systems is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable navigating technology platforms such as WMS and ERP systems.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with various departments.
  • Ability to maintain focus and accuracy in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
