The Inventory Control specialist supports laboratory operations by managing equipment inventory, asset tracking, and calibration logistics. This hands-on role ensures laboratory assets are accurately identified, tracked, maintained, and available for use.
Responsibilities
Apply asset identification and GPS tracking tags to equipment.
Verify equipment serial numbers, manufacturers, and model information.
Update and maintain asset records, locations, ownership, and status in tracking systems.
Assist with inventory audits and equipment location verification.
Coordinate calibration activities, including equipment shipment, receipt, and record updates.
Prepare and stage equipment for pickup and return calibrated equipment to designated locations.
Support general laboratory operations related to asset management and inventory control.
