Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Inventory Control Specialist to join our warehouse operations team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of our inventory through regular cycle counts and audits. Key Responsibilities
Perform daily cycle counts of product inventory.
Verify and maintain inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Follow proper inventory control procedures and company policies.
Communicate discrepancies and inventory concerns with management.
Conduct audits and inspections to ensure quality and procedural compliance.
Identify and report damaged products using proper documentation.
Maintain organized and accurate audit results and records.
Collaborate with operations to identify and resolve inventory gaps.
Support additional warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
1 2 years warehouse experience preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, WMS systems, and RF scanners.
Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
Skills & Abilities
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines.
Comfortable working in a diverse and team-oriented environment.
Ability to lift 30 75 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, standing, lifting).
Ability to work in various warehouse areas and operate warehouse equipment (with training).
Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean workspace.
Physical Requirements
Frequent walking, standing, lifting, stooping, and kneeling.
Occasional sitting and climbing/balancing.
Regular lifting up to 10 lbs, frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
