Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory management, vendor coordination, and purchasing activities in a technology-focused warehouse environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to maintain accurate inventory levels.
Responsibilities
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of technical equipment and parts.
Obtain vendor quotes, maintain supplier relationships, and track order lead times.
Manage minimum order quantities and inventory availability.
Work with technical, field service, and installation teams to anticipate inventory needs.
Coordinate with Purchasing on orders, purchase requests, and delivery schedules.
Process freight and warehouse invoices for approval.
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with general warehouse inventory operations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2-4 years of inventory control, warehouse inventory, or materials management experience.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Experience working with vendors, purchase orders, and inventory tracking systems.
Familiarity with ServiceNow or Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP preferred.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
