Overview
The role of the Inventory Control Specialist I is to ensure that product is available for sale, to increase the turnover of dead and special-ordered product and identify and correct the reasons for inventory problems.
Responsibilities
• Replenishment of assigned inventory locations • Contact supervisors to report issues and identify inventory needs • Determine and identify locations for new material • Maintain assigned areas in a clean and organized manner • Assist Level II Inventory Control Specialist with work, as assigned • Work with the Receiving and other Shift Supervisors/Managers, Inventory Control Analysts and Warehouse Staff with requests for priority services and to report issues • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required One-year related experience is preferred
Physical Demands
Ability to lift 40 lbs Repetitive motion Reaching, pushing, pulling carts, pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment Walking, standing for extended periods of time
