Abacus Staffing and one of our national partners are looking for a Inventory Control Specialist in the Litchfield Park, AZ area.
Inventory Control Specialist
Location: Litchfield Park, AZ
Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
Position Type: Full-Time
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory accuracy and customer inventory management activities within a warehouse and production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with inventory systems, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience in shipping and receiving, production operations, and WMS/MRP systems is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Create receipts and process inventory transactions using the Nulogy database system.
- Conduct routine location audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Perform put-away location audits and verify proper inventory placement.
- Record and maintain audit results in Microsoft Excel databases.
- Monitor and report raw material inventory counts to account representatives.
- Investigate and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Support inventory control processes and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Perform other inventory-related and customer inventory management activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic data entry and recordkeeping skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience in a shipping, receiving, warehouse, or production environment.
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
- Inventory control, cycle counting, auditing, or warehouse operations experience.
- Familiarity with inventory management best practices and reporting.
