PURPOSE The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products listed in PIMS Inventory Management System (IMS) are in sync with items in PIMS Warehouse Management System (WMS), online, and in the warehouse. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts, consolidating locations, and communicating any discrepancies to the Inventory Control Manager. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES •Monitor E-mails and complete cycle counts, SKU updates, and other requests in a timely manner •Maintain synchronization between IMS and WMS during the cycle count process •Investigate discrepancies in inventory to figure out the cause in order to address and prevent mistakes moving forward •Work closely with order fulfilment and other departments to ensure alignment of inventory •Consolidate locations and re-box inventory to optimize warehouse space and efficiency •Maintain a clean and organized warehouse •Assist in managing inventory across multiple warehousing sites •Perform other duties as assigned SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS •Learn and utilize all functions of our warehouse management systems •Strong attention to detail and accuracy •Excellent organizational skills •Ability to manage multiple projects independently and in a team setting •Efficient and timely in completing tasks •Effective written and verbal communication skills •Problem-solving abilities PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS •Ability to climb ladders and work in a warehouse environment •Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs PERSONALITY TRAITS •Detail-oriented and organized •Self-motivated and proactive •Adaptable to changing priorities and workflows •Team-oriented and collaborative •Committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency WORK EXPERIENCE Previous experience in inventory control or quality control roles a plus KEY COMPETENCIES Attention to Detail, Dependability, Initiative, Integrity, Interpersonal Skills, Productivity, Quality Orientation, Results Focus, Safety Awareness, Teamwork/Collaboration, Technical/Professional Knowledge, Problem-Solving/Analysis |
