Description
Kleen Test Products, a leader in contract manufacturing, is hiring a detail‑driven Inventory Control Specialist to support our growing operations. If you enjoy problem‑solving, improving processes, and ensuring inventory accuracy, this role offers a strong mix of hands‑on work and analytical responsibility.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory in Syspro, performing physical counts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting material flow across production, receiving, and shipping.
What You’ll Do
Perform physical counts of raw materials and finished goods.
Verify component usage, issues, and returns from the shop floor.
Confirm finished‑goods production accuracy.
Develop and manage an effective cycle‑count program.
Reconcile physical inventory to Syspro and identify root causes of variances.
Complete material‑movement transactions in Syspro.
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Support waste‑management initiatives and help reduce material obsolescence.
Enter transactions into customer ERP systems (e.g., SAP) when required.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Prior experience (6 months to 1 year) in inventory control or related area; Associate degree in materials planning/supply chain, business, or related area of discipline is preferred.
Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to write reports and findings and present to all levels of management in a clear and concise manner.
Exceptional organizational skills, along with strong attention to detail.
Excellent multi-tasking skills along with ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining composure and respect for everyone.
Strong understanding of mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Understanding of MRP concepts and ERP system functionality.
Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point), experience with Google suite and Outlook.
