Inventory Control Specialist

Surprise, AZ
$24.00–$26.00/hour DOE
Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Temp-to-Hire

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory accuracy and inventory management within a manufacturing environment. This is an office-based position, not a warehouse role, so candidates should present themselves professionally and be comfortable working in a business office setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Coordinate and perform cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective action plans.
  • Analyze inventory variance reports to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Process inventory adjustments and substitutions.
  • Create and maintain inventory tags and labels.
  • Prepare inventory balance reports.
  • Utilize barcode scanners/scan guns and ERP systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service while collaborating with internal departments.
  • Perform additional inventory-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Experience with inventory adjustments, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Experience using scan guns/barcode scanners.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel (Pivot Tables preferred), Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
  • Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
