** Our client in North Hollywood is seeking a Inventory Control Supervisor – 3PL**

Employment Type: Temp to Hire - Full-Time, On-Site

Salary: $26.00-30.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30PM

Ideal Candidate:

The right person is highly visible on the warehouse floor, proactive, organized, and ready to step in wherever needed. They do not wait for discrepancies to become larger problems. They verify the physical inventory, research the system activity, communicate the issue clearly, and ensure the correction is completed properly.

Position Summary:

Product Society is seeking a hands-on Inventory Control Supervisor to lead inventory accuracy and daily warehouse control activities within our fast-paced 3PL operation. This is not a desk-only position. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on the warehouse floor, moving between storage and picking areas, performing physical counts, investigating discrepancies, and directing the team in real time.

The Inventory Control Supervisor will oversee cycle counts, inventory adjustments, location accuracy, receiving verification, replenishment, and discrepancy resolution across multiple client accounts. This position requires someone who takes ownership, moves with urgency, and can balance physical warehouse work with accurate system transactions and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily inventory control activities across picking, bulk storage, component, finished goods, and client-designated locations.

• Lead and perform cycle counts, physical inventories, spot checks, and recounts.

• Investigate inventory discrepancies by reviewing receiving, picking, replenishment, returns, transfers, and shipping activity.

• Ensure physical inventory matches ShipHero, ERP, and internal inventory records.

• Verify that all products are stored in the correct client, SKU, lot, status, and location.

• Oversee picking-bin replenishment and confirm inventory is transferred correctly before product is moved.

• Review and approve inventory adjustments with appropriate supporting documentation.

• Identify root causes of recurring variances and implement corrective actions.

• Monitor inventory accuracy by client, SKU, location, and warehouse area.

• Support receiving by verifying quantities, product identification, lot information, and storage locations.

• Ensure damaged, returned, held, rejected, or questionable inventory is properly identified and segregated.

• Train warehouse employees on scanning, inventory movements, location control, counting practices, and documentation requirements.

• Assign daily work and provide direct floor-level supervision to inventory control personnel.

• Maintain organized, clearly labeled, and accurate warehouse locations.

• Work closely with Receiving, Shipping, Picking, Quality, Customer Service, and Operations.

• Prepare inventory reports and communicate count results, discrepancies, and corrective actions to management.

• Support client-specific inventory counts, audits, and reporting requirements.

• Escalate significant inventory discrepancies, system issues, or potential product losses immediately.

• Enforce warehouse safety, cleanliness, documentation, and inventory-control procedures.

• Assist with warehouse activities as needed, including moving cases, pallets, products, and materials.

Required Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of inventory control, warehouse, distribution, or 3PL experience.

• Previous lead or supervisory experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Strong experience with cycle counting, physical inventories, reconciliation, and variance investigation.

• Comfortable working primarily on the warehouse floor and moving throughout the facility.

• Experience using warehouse management systems, inventory software, barcode scanners, and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, timely system transactions.

• Ability to prioritize multiple client needs and respond quickly to changing operational demands.

• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining a professional and collaborative working environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a multi-client 3PL environment.

• Experience with ShipHero or a similar warehouse management system.

• Experience with lot-controlled, status-controlled, or regulated consumer products.

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

• Forklift or powered industrial truck experience preferred.

Physical and Work Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

• Ability to regularly move between warehouse floors, picking areas, storage locations, and office workstations.

• Ability to bend, reach, climb stairs, and perform physical inventory counts.

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment with frequent movement, changing priorities, and operational deadlines.
