Summary:

Manages a variety of raw and finished goods inventories by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate Shipping & Receiving Clerks, Leads, and peer Supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze and organize daily inventory reporting.
• Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of systems and appropriate software applications.
• Reviews all inventory counts; reconciles any variances and troubleshoots the process and staff to ensure that information is accurate and updated.
• Directly supervises the Shipping & Receiving Clerks and ensures that shipping and receiving activities are being properly communicated with carriers and our customers.
• Plays the leading role in troubleshooting and resolving inventory discrepancies and ensuring that transactional activity is accurately communicated both internally and with our customers.
• Ensures that the company and customer (internal and external) reporting requirements are met regarding shift and daily production/activity in the facility.
• Formulates procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
• Oversees and fills in as needed for Shipping and Receiving functions.
• Ensures that timely and accurate communications occur with our customers as needed.
• Multi-tasking to accomplish multiple objectives on required timelines.

• Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: 2-4 years' experience in a related position. Working knowledge of inventory control practices.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages, and volume.
• Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Exponent HR.
• Customer Service Skills: Ability to meet customer needs.
• Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
