Inventory Control Supervisor

Hearth & Home Technologies is looking for an Inventory Control Supervisor to join our Fireplaces Business Unit in Mt. Pleasant, IA. Key Responsibilities

- Develops strategies and action plans for the overall flow of material and information throughout the facility aimed at achieving world-class performance to satisfy fulfillment lead-time and inventory turns.

- Manage and maintain inventory by determining optimum inventory, space requirements, cost levels, accuracy and recommending review of idle, excess and obsolete stock.

- Oversee release of raw materials through pull signal replenishment in order to satisfactorily meet manufacturing raw material requirements.

- Manage the day-to-day functions of the receiving, inventory and material movement teams developing and maintaining FPEF (Plan for Every Part).

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- 5-8 years of experience in materials management in a manufacturing environment.
