As an Inventory Control Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads with a hands-on approach, and drives operational excellence every day. In this role, you'll lead a high-performing team responsible for inventory control and shipping/receiving, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety while enabling Tesla's mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.

  • Oversee and manage inventory control processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and policies in line with company goals and objectives
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including conducting regular audits and reconciliations
  • Supervise a team of inventory control specialists and provide guidance, training, and support as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as supply chain and production, to optimize inventory management processes
  • Investigate and resolve receipt or inventory discrepancies, collaborating with internal stakeholders
  • Tesla people leaders are responsible for a variety of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) assurance functions, including ensuring their teams' safety training is current, documenting EHS incidents, proactively correcting workplace hazards in the areas, and empowering others to continuously improve operations
  • Bachelor's degree of Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, including flexible shifts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across digital and in-person channels
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency with ERP/MOS systems
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to optimize inventory and production performance metrics
  • Proven expertise in inventory control, materials management, and supply chain operations
  • 5+ years in manufacturing/warehouse operations, with 3+ years in a leadership role
