· Performs daily physical inventory counts across manufacturing, packaging, and distribution areas, ensuring all product quantities, weights, and statuses match system records.
· Conducts cycle counts and routine spot audits on high-risk or high-volume inventory to proactively identify discrepancies.
· Tracks product movement through all stages (raw material, WIP, finished goods, quarantined, destroyed) and update tracking software in real time.
· Weighs and verifies packages using calibrated scales; record results accurately to maintain integrity of system inventory balances.
· Investigates inventory variances, document findings, escalate issues, and participate in root-cause analysis and corrective action when needed.
· Reconciles physical inventory against track-and-trace data weekly or as required, preparing reports for supervisors and leadership.
· Prepares samples and batches for QA and state compliance testing, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, sealing, and transfers.
· Ensures all manifests, transfers, adjustments, and destructions are properly documented, approved, and retained per company SOPs.
· Accurately fulfills orders and internal pulls by selecting correct packages, verifying weights, and confirming information in the tracking system.
· Intakes inbound transfers, verify counts and integrity, and properly manifest outbound packages in track-and-trace software.
· Maintains clear organization of storage areas, ensuring separation of approved, quarantined, and rejected inventory.
· Supports internal, third-party, and regulatory audits by preparing inventory records, responding to requests, and participating in walkthroughs.
· Maintains logs for equipment calibration, inventory adjustments, and chain-of-custody activities.
· Assists with destruction processes, ensuring documentation and observation requirements are followed.
· Communicates effectively with production, QA, packaging, and distribution teams to align on inventory status and needs.
· Executes ad hoc projects as assigned by direct supervisor.
