Inventory Control Technician I

Location: Leesburg, VA

Shift: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM Mon - Fri

As an Inventory Control Technician I in our Operations function within the Spine division, you'll play a hands-on role in warehouse operations - accurately picking inventory for orders, moving stock, and supporting inventory accuracy to ensure products are ready when needed.

What You'll Do:

  • Practice good GDocP (Good Documentation Practices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Accurately pick various work order types
  • Move inventory to pickable stock locations
  • Perform basic JD Edwards functions, including summary availability searches and inventory transfers
  • Participate in periodic inventory cycle counts
  • Utilize ComplianceWire and Windchill systems
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

What You Bring:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to be organized, detail-oriented, process- and goal-oriented, and a self-starter
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as a team player
  • Ability to read, write, and understand detailed work instructions and Good Manufacturing Processes
  • Ability to calculate figures and apply basic math concepts
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation:

Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and performance. The typical pay rate for this role is $23/hr, with potential for overtime and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
