Purpose/Responsibilities
This position is responsible for performing daily package operations to prepare product for shipment.
- Daily pick-up and distribution of U.S. and interoffice mail
- Responsible for receipt of all FedEx, UPS, and other third-party deliveries
- Verify packing slip vs. PO, receive into system, and deliver to internal area/customer
- Conduct inventory and cycle counts in crib area, ongoing as needed
- Follow secondary package requirements per process sheet and by looking up ES procedure in TSI
- Labels must be checked in order, printed, and verify the process sheet for accuracy and completeness
- Labels must be made from the order, assembly issue sheet, print, and process sheet in conformance with ES, ECS, and other product specifications
- Maintain inventory of bags, labels, and printer ribbon
- Position requires interface with Production Control and Inspectio
- This individual may generate and/or handle regulated (i.e. hazardous/non-hazardous) waste as part of this job. They must be disposed of in accordance with federal/state regulations
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude & understanding of basic math (adding and subtracting decimals)
- Ability to read and understand prints, process sheets, and engineering specifications.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Ability to sit or stand in one position for a period of time. Ability to carry parts from assigned areas to the work station.
- Dexterity of hands, some repetitive motions
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
